Since its renovation in the mid-seventies, many different fans have passed through Yankee Stadium, but the seats remained constant, witnessing every historic event to take place on it hallowed grounds. To name just a few, there was Reggie Jackson’s 1977 heroics in game 6 of the 1977 World Series, Perfect Games thrown by David Wells and David Cone in 1998 & 1999 respectively, and a 2003 ALCS Game 7, walk off Aaron Boone home run, sending the Red Sox home and the Yankees to the World Series. On September 21, 2008, the building hosted its final game, producing one last memorable moment, a farewell speech from the Captain, Derek Jeter. Yankee Stadium was home to the 26-Time World Series Champions, a sports venue not easily replaced. Each set of seats from the original Yankee Stadium are free-standing units upon arrival, and come with a free, signed Yankees collectible. Seats may differ from those shown. Seat pairs with lead-based painted arms have been stripped and re-painted, leaving original arms still intact.
