Item Description This 16x20 photo has been personally hand signed by former New York Yankees first baseman Don Mattingly. Nicknamed ?Donnie Baseball? or ?The Hitman. Mattingly played his entire career in pinstripes and became one of only a handful of Yankees ever to be named team captain. Early in his career, Mattingly was a powerhouse at bat, winning the American League batting title in 1984 with 207 hits and a .343 average. In 1985 he won the American League Most Valuable Player Award, batting .324 with 35 home runs, 48 doubles, and 145 runs batted in. In 1987 he hit a major league single-season record six grand slam home runs. Throughout his tenure with the Yankees, Mattingly was an infield fixture, playing first, second, and third base, and earning nine Gold Gloves. This product is officially licensed and authenticated by Major League Baseball and comes with an individually numbered; tamper evident hologram from Mounted Memories.
